I lost some weight recently, and needed a smaller winter jacket. I loved the teal and purple colors of this parka, so I ordered it online. I received it quickly and the quality is top notch. I really like all the pockets, especially the fleece lined hand warmers, those are excellent. I’m 5’11” 235lbs and the XL still leaves room for layering and fits well. I like that the hood is sewn in because I always forget a hat when I need one. It’s also really warm even in some significant wind that we had today in Virginia after a snowstorm. I highly recommend it. I wish I knew about this brand when I lived in Austin!

I needed a new a new parka for the winter months, after about 7 years my old one was falling apart. I had been looking for a while, but nothing stuck until I saw the Howler Bros Spellbinder Parka.

One of the biggest appeals of this product was being able to choose between more simple color ways or the super colorful ultramarine/plum version. I love adding more color to my life, and a lot of companies, especially companies making parkas for men, forget that not all of us want black, grey or army green all the time.

After arriving, I found a lot of things to really love about this product. It feels nice and light weight without sacrificing insulation. It’s really easy to carry, and since it’s not so bulky if you do need to take it off it’s not just a huge pile of fabric in the way. Big fan of this jacket and hoping it lasts me just as long if not longer than my last one.

I like a roomier fit for my jackets so I went up in size (normally an XL, ordered an XXL) I think it would have worked out well either way, but it seems the product is pretty true to size.
